Insch Allah

You might have heard the phrase "Insch Allah," which translates to "It’s all in Gods hands." It's a phrase used all of the time in the Arab world and is in this case is also the title to a fun modern pop song. The singer Lapifa talks about a boy asking his girlfriend where this relationship is going, and she answers "It’s all in Gods hands."

Originally choreographed by former troupe member Nahar, this super cute song's choreography was recently revamped & given new life by the sassy Ms Sabeeya. Come to this class to learn fabulou belly dance moves like the Egyptian hip circle, horizontal and vertical hip figure 8s, hip drop kicks, traveling camels, shoulder rolls and of course how to play zills! This dance incorporates zills, a.k.a. finger cymbals or sagat. It is a wonderful 1st zill dance, as the zills maintain a nice constant beat, which is easy to follow and play while dancing.
