What is a studio show?

Twice a year, Spring and Fall, the Nazeem Allayl studio puts on a fabulous show featuring the 30some members of its three troupes (Nazeem Allayl, Nazeem Almassah, and Nazeem Alsabah). They perform a variety of Middle Eastern dances, showcasing dances from Turkey, Lebanon, and Egypt, in cabaret, fusion, and folk dance styles. You will see solos, partner, and group dances featuring exciting props such as swords, candles, wings, finger cymbals, or canes. In addition, the students from our studios are performing as well for their friends and families, typically in multiple beginner level and intermediate level groups. At the Spring 2008 show, we had a total of sixty (60) dancers - an amazing number of current and future stars at one time.

Ticket Cost

There are at different price levels ($15 - $35) depending on how close to the stage the seats are. The price of your ticket includes seating for the fabulous show. Details about ticket sales.

**Directions**

Everyone needs a ticket, incl. babies

Please make sure that your guests are aware that every person, including babies and small children, need their own seat & must have a ticket. There is no room for "sitting on the lap" & we do not allow this. Bassinets/car seats must be placed on a chair. They are not allowed to sit on the floor. No strollers/baby carriages are allowed on show nights. Again, please make your guest(s) aware of the above, as we would hate to turn them away.

Note: While our show is "G rated" and suited for the entire family, the high level of excitement and applause can be over stimulating for babies. Sitting still for 2+ hours is also sometimes not the easiest thing for a small child.

Assigned Seating

We have assigned seating, which means you buy the exact seats that you/your friends & family will be sitting in. Please buy early if you want prime seats and/or a large group of seats together. Please be aware that people stand in line before the doors open on the first day of tickets sales. Most of the premium seats will be sold within the first hour once tickets go on sale.

No Photos or Video

Sorry, we are recording in hi-def this time and flash photography shows up in the video. Realistically, the smaller camers w/o professional flash can not take good pictures due to the distance from the stage; the flash does, hoever, show up in the video.
We will be taking pictures under controlled conditions, and make the pictures available on our website for you.

Recording video in any form is also not allowed. Please make your guests aware that they can in no way film the show or any part of the show, as this policy is strictly enforced. We will have an official fully edited recording of the show, which will go on sale one week after the shows are over. It will include the appropriate copyright.

High definition video version: Blue Ray

The show is recorded in high definition video and will be made available for special order on blue ray disks. Please send an email to shop@AtlantaBellyDance.com if you are interested in a blue-ray version of the show (plays on blue-ray players like the Sony Playstation 3. Of course, the show is available in standard wide screen as well (DVD).
