Esm Habibek Eih 

Esm Habibek Eih is a Nubian folk dance. Nubia bordered Egypt to the south (part of Sudan(, and the country was very influential on Egypt, with Nubian pharaohs ruling it during the 12th and 25th dynasty. The Nubian people can no longer live in the area of their ancestors, as it is flooded by the artifical "Lake Nasser" created by the Aswan dam.The displaced Nubian people settled on Elephant Island in Aswan/Egypt. Their culture survices, and our dance is a tribute to this very ancient people.
